Lionel Desmond fatality inquiry

An inquiry into the tragic case of Lionel Desmond, an Afghan war veteran who fatally shot and killed three members of this family before turning the gun on himself, completed its second day of hearings on Tuesday. The inquiry heard graphic testimony about the day the bodies were found in Upper Big Tracadie, N.S., on Jan. 3, 2017. Two of Desmond’s sisters talked about the inquiry and how they were feeling at the close of the second day of hearings. (January 28, 2020.)
